We had a relaxing stay thanks to hotel's fantastically friendly and pretty friendly staff. Our room with a bath was big size with exceptionally comfortable beds. The property had an incredible location by woodlands. We greatly enjoyed this hotel and would stay there again.
Didn't like the staff, some of them were disappointing.

Location just next door to beautiful gardens and scenery, the Roman fort on the property estate, and an old Manor House. Stunning and gorgeous unit for space with bathroom glasses on the sink, very friendly staff.

Couples retreat, perfect for special occasions
The staff were just amazing , especially Levis. We loved the huge garden swing and were surprised by the thoughtful detail of having a nice glass of fizz waiting for us in the room for my partner's birthday.
It wasn't particularly cheap , but overall still acceptable for what we got.

The hotel is set in stunning surroundings. Staff were welcoming and attentive, but the lack of a cooked breakfast was a slight letdown. The continental options, including fresh fruit and pastries, were good. A lovely experience.

The hotel boasts a lovely historic charm with elegant architecture and beautiful gardens that create a peaceful atmosphere. The attention to detail in the room's decor highlights its character.
I found the Standard Double Room lacking practical features, particularly no hanging space for clothes, which makes it tough for longer stays. The lack of air conditioning in the room led to an uncomfortable night. Even with a fan, the heat was stifling. On another note, I was disappointed to discover they only serve continental breakfast-if they'd had a cooked option, it would have elevated the experience considerably.

I loved the beautiful setting at Caer Rhun in Conwy. The gardens were fine and the character of the building made it cozy. My room had an amazing view of the gardens, which I enjoyed every morning. The shared areas were nicely decorated with a lovely fireplace that created a warm atmosphere. The staff were friendly and helpful, including some Welsh speakers. I appreciated the tea and coffee facilities in the room, and the complementary hand soap was a nice detail. Breakfast was good too, especially the unique pancake-making machine! I found the meal prices in the restaurant a bit steep, particularly the £38 for an 8oz steak. The shower room was quite small and lacked shelving for personal items.
